So many important things are happening. There is a crucial set of American elections shaping up this summer which may define the next five or 10 years of our country. Some of our friends and family members are finding their way through new jobs, or are looking for jobs, or are struggling through unwelcome health issues. Some of us are working with low-income people and others so challenged that they may never see safety and stability in their lives.
But still the summer flowers bloom, and delicious fruit is ripening. So here's a moment away from our work, our cares, and even our hopes, to simply look at the pretty things of the field.
